Pafos

Nestling on the south-western tip of the island and founded in the 4th century BC, Pafos is probably Cyprus' most charming coastal town. Pafos is the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty.

Pafos is renowned for it's rich cultural heritage, scattered with countless places of historical and archaeological interest, yet easily fulfilling all the criteria for a modern lifestyle, making it the most popular home-buying resort in Cyprus.

Pafos has developed into a very popular holiday and residential area for overseas visitors, but still manages to retain much of its traditional character, due to the strict regulations concerning building. Paphos has a relatively smaller population compared to other towns in Cyprus.

Paphos has it's own International Airport conveniently located just 10 km east of the town, situated away from the residential areas, with regular flights to Europe.
The new highway to Limassol, the main port and commercial centre (70 km away) offers easy access to other parts of the island.

Pafos offers countless sandy beaches and coves.
The popular sandy beach of
Coral Bay is situated on the border of the beautiful Akamas peninsula.

Kato Pafos (lower Pafos) offers a wealth of restaurants, cafes and shops.  Why not indulge yourself in one of the superb fish taverns at Pafos harbor and watch the local fisherman bring in their daily catch?

Pano Pafos
(upper Pafos) is the old town that oozes charm, a combination of old and new.  A fruit and vegetable market is held every morning with fresh produce brought from many of the villages surrounding Pafos.  Modern shopping centers can also be found offering fashion for everyone, at all price ranges!
